Not Really... Maddy practiced her letters today. In crayon. On the wall. All the way down the hallway. And into my bedroom.

I guess that is why they made Magic Erasers. Have I mentioned that all the paint in my house is flat and not really supposed to be scrubbed?

In other news we finally made it up to the top of the Sears Tower last weekend while my mom was here so here. Here are a few pictures from that day.

Taking the easy way

So I am a big slacker when it comes to posting lately. In my defense I do only have one hand (no I didn't take the Indian bravery test, this is for any Maverick fans, hopefully you get the reference) so to continue my laziness I am posting a link to my mom's blog, so you can see what we've been up to.

What's been going on...

After such an exciting start to January, February is pretty tame. Maddy started gymnastics at a new gym today. I think she worked harder at this new place. Also because she is 3 she goes by herself instead of with me. It was pretty funny to watch her, she is kinda flighty (wonder where that comes from?)

She always turns away at the last second ... anyway you can see her fancy 'do.












The other thing we have been doing is patching her eye. She fights it every time but I swear its for show because she really will wear it for at least a few hours at a time. We've been getting 4 hours in almost every day. I bought a new patch that goes over her glasses (which is now misplaced, yes I checked the pocket of my robe. Thank you very much).
